Interesting...gonna have to give it a try...maybe this season.  I did read an article once on the doe in estrus lures.  Companies claim that they are 100% pure, but this study showed that it was impossible to produce that much pure lure because of the doe heat cycles and number of deer available.  Maybe they still concidered it 100% pure if they were using 100 proof vodka.  That looked pretty easy to do, guess I'll have to quit leaving the balls on my buddies porch (to go with his tag soup).  Surely it would work for elk too, a guy could make a lot.  Wonder if an older buck would produce a different smell.  Thanks for sharing the link.
