Opening day Whitey!

Got a call from my nephew last night. He arrowed a buck just before dark and couldn't find him...
We were out at first light this morning...literally on our hands and knees looking for blood.
A drop here and there......300 yards later... :tup:   :IBCOOL:

 Glad you guys found it. . .you always know it is hunting season when you are sitting down to dinner and your husband gets a phone call and all you hear on the on-sided conversation is. . . ."shut up no you didn't. Really? Yeah I will be right there just gotta put my boots on" and next thing you know you are getting a kiss on the forhead and being told "I am going to go help find ____ (enter name here)'s buck see you later!" LOL

You also know it's hunting season when they get home late at night and then random early morning phone calls (at 5:00 AM!) that are to the tone of. . . o sh!t sorry I though we were meeting at 6:45 yeah i will be there in a sec.
And once again you get the kiss on the forehead . . .. "going to look for that buck again, . . . . Damn that pisses me of he got his buck already" LOL! All a good wifey can do when she has to work in a few hours is wish them good luck! LOL!

The deer was bloated when we found him....but it was pretty cool out last night..I'm sure he's fine.
MY deer season lasts until Dec. 15.
I drew a multi season tag!
It was a great shot 17 yards..... lunged him....The tracking job was pretty fantastic as well!
Super pretty short haired deer....
