Great morning for Snake River Steelies
« on: September 05, 2011, 10:10:20 AM »
The wife, my brother, and I hit the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater rivers for steelies this morning. The weather was picture perfect and the steelhead were hitting like mad.

My wife brought a native to the boat within five minutes of anchoring so we started off hot. We stayed out for only two hours today but brought home 4 keepers for the smoker.

Here are some pics.

Yup! Purple shrimp with a little garlic scent seemed to work great this morning!
