Tri-Cities The Outdoorsman Expo
« on: September 09, 2011, 10:22:53 PM »
Today was the first day and I would of liked to of gone but too busy today.  Is it any good this year.  I know last year I went and it was fun to look around and I got a great deal on a coyote call but is there any good seminars or exhibits worth going to or any good deals.  Want to hear some responses before I decide if I'm going to drive an hour to go to this expo this year.  Entrance fee sounds cheap but more worried about gas prices. What is other peoples take and opinions to help me decide.

Crap, just down the road from me but I have other obligations so I wont be attending.     hope other hunt-wa members can go.

I didn't see any posts before this one or see that many advertisements for it so I don't know if its a big deal this year.

I wasn't impressed....

I haven't been impressed with it for a couple of years now so I skipped it this year. I was at the soccer fields all weekend for a tourney and it appeared that there was a very low turnout rate over at the TRAC. They are going to have to do something different if they intend to keep it profitable. Less and less people are going every year.

this was billed more as a commercial expo, didn't go. cant see them charging me to get into an area where they are trying to get me to spend money.
As far as all these sportsmen shows go they need to put them in the off season & not when there's any seasons on.

Yeah it was ok. I liked not having to push my way through the crowds. It was nice for my daughter she was able to do the rock climbing wall, the bow range, soft air rifle range and fish for free, without standing in lines for 20 minutes. It had the same stuff you would see at the Sportsman Shows just not as many. Lots of good deals if you were in the market for trailers or campers. Atvs dealers didn't have any slamming deals. I hope to win lots of door prizes since it was a low turn out.

Also what questioned me is that it said its the 1st annual Outdoorsmen Expo. But I know I went to it last year as everyone said. But their flyer said 1st annual.
