I used to just keep mine in my pack since I never really got reception where I hunted anyways. I say used to because about 4 years ago I mountain biked in the dark three miles behind a gate, and at first light had my scope settled on a nice three point I had been trying to get the drop on for several days. Then as my finger is creeping towards the trigger I start feeling a vibration comming out of my pack followed by my elk bugle ring tone needless to say the buck was not impressed with the sound of a dominate bull comming out of the funny bush standing 80 yards away. I never seen that deer again that season, and my phone never left the truck again.
