SOOOO CLOSE!!
« on: September 10, 2011, 09:37:58 PM »
I was really close to connecting on my first archery bull tonight. Long story short I had two spikes come in at last night and one was a legal true spike. They came out of the thick stuff and in front of my ground blind at 14 and 17 yards!  :yike: When the legal bull cleared the 1x2 I drew my bow and just as I got to full draw the 1x2 looked up and saw a little movement and off they went.  :bash: The whole encounter took about 7-8 minutes where I didn't move a muscle and that all let loose after they were gone because I was shaking like a leaf. I am disappointed I didn't connect but what a rush!  Maybe tomorrow will be my day.

Good luck! You gonna post up in the same spot or move your blind?

I posted up there this morning and nothing came in but I decided to come home for football and will be heading back out this evening to see if I can find them again!
