i was wondering if anyone has been hunting up there at all for elk season and if you have been seeing anything. where going up this coming weekend cause its gonna be perfect over there. Also are the elk herded up yet. Thanks.

It's been very hot . If your willing to hike into the nasty canyons you can find elk , We only saw small groups and the bulls where pretty quiet only buggling a few times in the early morning and last light, maybe the cooler weather will get them fired up , good luck .

just got a phone call from my buddy over in 340 off of the Hutchinson
road, they got a wild fire burning up there above there camp about a mile away they where told to stand by and be ready if they need to evacuate... just thought id share that...

road, they got a wild fire burning up there above there camp about a mile away they where told to stand by and be ready if they need to evacuate... just thought id share that...

just drove by on I-90 saw the fire and helicopters putting it out. Didnt seem to big of a fire but let me know if you hear anything, I have camp set up there and was going to head back up to meet my friends
