Looking for a place to buy Knight breech plug
« on: September 13, 2011, 09:05:46 PM »
I'm looking for a back up breech plug and #11 nipple for my new Knight Bighorn. I found some online, but I'm not sure if they fit the bighorn, and I'm not sure if they take #11. Terrible descriptions everywhere I've looked. Anyone have one to sell or know a good place to get one?

Knight has them... You just need to make sure and tell them which caliber you are shooting.  If it is a 50 it will take a 5/8" breech plug... if it is a 52 it takles a larger 11/16" BP...

50 cal BP Knight #900023
52 cal BP Knight #000624

Call Robin @ Knight... 1 866 518-4181

Which nipple? #11 or Musket... If you are going to order a #11 from them I might pass on that right now.  They sell Red Hot nipples which are great lasting niples - but the last ones I have recieved from them the #11's will not stay one... I also tried the new TC Hot Shot nipples - they are no better.  I did end up ordering some RWS nipples from another company (http://rmcsports.com/catalog.htm) and I have also ordered some AMPRO’s from Track of the Wolf.
