Got into the doves yesterday
« on: September 15, 2011, 07:57:43 AM »
Very nice afternoon of dove shooting yesterday. I've found that dove shooting in E. Washington can be a bit of a crap shoot. Often times just when you're set to go in Sept. the temp dips, and so do the numbers of birds. Yesterday, we managed to hit it just right. To top it off, it was my black dog's "Mojo" second hunting trip ever, and he didn't miss a single bird. Good partner, good dog work, and good shooting on a nice warm afternoon with a light breeze. Doesn't get much better than that!

Wile E.
