Does anyone have any ideas on where a good area is to hunt the early season for muzzleloader?

I think Deschutes is open (GMU 666). You might try that. I think it's "any elk".

I have a lot of time to scout right now I never hunted out there before have you hunted that area before and yes it's any elk!

Yes I have, but don't anymore. You can hunt elk on Fort Lewis.

Deschutes is one unit I would not waste my time in! I'll leave it at that.
