what my 15 year-old daughter carries
« on: September 26, 2011, 07:39:58 PM »
in November 2007 I started a thread with the same title except my little girl was 11 at the time. she is almost 16 now & has graduated out of her 1st big-game rifle into a full-size 1. she started out with a T/C Contender in 25/35 Win & yesterday she successfully traded a guy @ a gunshow out of a T/C Pro-Hunter Encore with a 3-9x40 Leupold in Leupold mounts, flex-tech stock. it has a 300 Win Mag bbl on it that I already plan to swap out for a 280 Remington bbl I bought this afternoon from an online site. she is very excited!
I am so glad she is not too girlie! don't get her wrong she is a girl & likes to strut & primp as much as any but she loves to hunt, I am blessed to have such a good kid, for now, she is kinda getting too cool & too smart for us old farts sometimes. :chuckle:
Romans 14:2 he who eats only vegetables is weak
Genesis 27:3 Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me

Good on you, the .280 is a excellent cartridge.
