I will be hunting for the first three weeks for elk, deer and anything else i see since i have all tags and everything is open.  I will be in the panhandle during all that time and am hoping to be in the woods pretty much every day.  If anyone needs any kind of help for elk or deer with packing let me know since the panhandle can be a little rugged to get an animal out.

Yeah it does, this was my first year hunting 4, but I think I'll invest in a muzzleloader to hut with an a tag next year.

I have been watching the weather and it looks like it will be cooling off next week which is good. The town I am staying in has a high of 55 and low of 30 predicted for Friday with chance of showers. That means that up in the hills could possibly get some snow!  :IBCOOL:

I'm heading over at 0dark:30 Saturday morning, will probably setup camp (roll out sleeping bag in a friends trailer) bike the skid roads Saturday & Sunday to get a better feel for the area I'll be hunting Monday. I'll spend the evenings drinking and getting the scout report from our local friend there who's had trail cams up & has been scouting over the last month or so.

nice that you have local intel. We were hoping to make at least one scouting trip before we went but with the price of gas, schedule conflicts and all that we didn't find the right weekend to make the 10 hour drive each way. We are going to scout all day Sunday and maybe an hour or two Saturday night depending on when we get into town. Good luck!

I'll be down on the Wyoming border for 8 days!  Swarovski Spotter just showed up in the mail yesterday...excited to put some use on it!
