I was just wondering because u can use lesser equipment during rifle re muzzy or bow, since I have the multi season tag and an archery hunter I was just looking for a straight answer if archery was viewed lesser than muzzy

I'm pretty sure you can down grade your weapon during any season, rather it be rifle or muzzleload season.  Bow is considered the lesser affective weapon so I don't know why you couldn't down grade from muzzleload to archery.

No, archery equipment is considered to be superior to muzzleloader equipment, due to it being waterproof and reliable in the rain and snow. Muzzleloaders are not. I am not sure why muzzleloaders are not allowed during archery season.  :dunno:

Na, Hunterfisher is right, had to look for myself.  Specifically says muzzleloaders only.  Learn something new every day.

This is correct.  The hierarchy of weaponry goes:

Nuclear bombs
30-06
All other smokeless cartridges
Compound Archery
Traditional Archery
Slingshot
Barbed insults
Muzzleloaders (unless it has a scope, then it's just below "all other smokeless catridges", unless the Compound bow has an illuminock, then...)

Oh, I just thought because you can shoot 200+ yards you would have more capabilities with a muzzleloader, but i stand corrected, I have seen Rambo do it, and I'm pretty sure maybe Chuck Norris could do it too.

you list can't be right.  there's no 7mm rem mag that'll shoot flat out to 500 yards, no holdover!   :chuckle:
