Solo
« on: October 09, 2011, 12:13:22 PM »
Really? Hunting partner just told me he's working in Cali. He leaves soon. So hunting Dayton solo. Lots of time scouting and planing. Least I got my spots picked out. Hate when this happens.  :bash:

Damn the luck.. Sometimes I'd rather hunt alone..Unless I kill a deer,,then a partner IS nice

Yea, I hate it when that happens. Looks like some other site members are going to be in your area. It'll be a good chance to meet some new people and possible hunting buddies. Good luck to you.

I ran into that same problem earlier in the season though. My buddy was offered a coaching job which really cut into his hunting time but then he decided to do something personal so I wont say but it was really stupid and now he cant hunt at all.

I just saw that. Looks like some of it might fall as white stuff up high. My best luck has been when the rain falls. I'll be in the lifted red chevy, with a nice 5x5 on the white cooler. haha. Dreaming I know.

We will either be in a grey and white F250 or a red one. Hopefully with the two 4x4 muleys we have running toghether on our property riding in the back. But I'd settle for one of the several whitetails we have been seeing. My dad will be there on Wenesday to get a good spot down Tucannon to camp and do some last minute scouting. I'm getting out of Lewiston by noon or one and should be at camp by 2. Damn, I'm getting excited, don't know how I'm going to make it through the week.
