montana elk or deer?

went to eastern MT early but way too hot!! I'm thinking of going back for deer or elk. My hunting partner has other plans so If someone has a tag and wants to go let me know.

i went deer hunting last year for the first time around seeley lake deer hunting. i am going back this year solo. i am looking at a couple of other places around deer lodge.

Great offer.I checked Mt website just the other day and you can still buy deer and elk tags. Hope you can find someone to go with roads over there can be hazardous much easier diggin yourself out of a ditch if you've got help. Good luck

i hunted around seeley lake last with my cousin and got our bucks, my cousins was a nice buck. mine tasted good. :) i was looking at a couple of the block units around there. and not sure yet. i want to be home by thanksgiving. are you coming down to do some hunting? nothing today. i will be doing a afternoon hunt tomorrow.

 :tup: Easiest hunting ever was in Montana, I went in `07, would like to go again this year if we get our elk early enough in the season.
