Ladies and Gentlemen

The last work week has finally arrived.  Let the countdown begin.  This is the week where almost all of us lose our jobs because our productivity level goes right out the window.  So to all the bosses, ease up on us.  Dont you know this week is better than christmas.

Last year I had a late deer permit. This week last year was not that excitiing...this year I can't wait for Friday to head east.  On with it now...

have to much crap to deal with to get real excited this year..

I am still looking for work since being laid off over a month ago..

Tuesday is my mom's first Chemo treatment for lung cancer... with her heart problems, the chemo could kill her outright, never mind the aggressive lymphoma...  so have been spending my time with her this weekend  :bash: :bash: :bash:

That sounds perfect, you never have to fight for  hunting vaction with them!

I am stoked about this year, set up camp friday, saw lots of deer there, and my youngest daughter (12) has a doe permit along with my (15) year old son, his last year for youth status, and its snowing in our hunting area. God is shining on us!

I'm stoked on the weather. It's gonna be cold and potentially wet, with snow up high! Gotta love that for Muley hunting. Welcome to the holiday season riflemen! It's gonna be very difficult to listen to my professors' lectures this week.  :chuckle:

Normally I'm so pumped to go hit the timber I have trouble sleeping this close to the opener but for some reason this year I haven't got that fired up.  :dunno: I know once I pack it will hit me & I will start dreaming of Hunts from the past & the smell of the campfires....

Been packed since i pulled out of the driveway on Sept 2nd for archery elk.  never unpacked.  Heading out Friday after work for the weekend and then back on Wed night for the last half.  Be hunting by myself this weekend and then a couple buddies come back with me on Wed.
Should be a good time, can't wait.  The weather up in the Methow looks like sun and cold, maybe a little precip on Friday.

Be carefull everyone and don't forget about those damn rattlesnakes,  :yike:  kill em all.

I use weather.com and usually its pretty spot on.  Looks like Friday has the best chance of rain which is good for Sat. morning hike, natures doorbell won't be getting you every step.

You should go out and kill a deer and get some good blood on a shirt.  Don't wash it and show up to class wearing it.  Better yet, is Evergreen college and artsy fartsy school?  Can you do colleg using only deer?  A bit on antler, maybe some hanging hooves, etc..?

Evergreen is THE most liberal school in the state if not the nation. It truly is hard to attend class there needless to say I don't spend much time on campus. I chose this school because it is VERY well respected in the two fields I am interested in Teaching and social work. As a response if I were in an art class I would for sure figure out some way to incorperate something from my harvest(if i am so lucky) in a project. I was however thinking of askin my uncle to tan the hide and turn it into pants or a coat so I could wear the hide to school. I am sure that would piss some people off. :chuckle:

You have some glass that needs to be set in Marysville. I have to wait a week longer than you so get your mind on the job at hand.
I am faunching at the bit too. Hope you guys do well on your hunt.
