The last work week has finally arrived.  Let the countdown begin.  This is the week where almost all of us lose our jobs because our productivity level goes right out the window.  So to all the bosses, ease up on us.  Dont you know this week is better than christmas.

Productivity - out the window, door and any other crevice it can find.  :chuckle: Unless it's anything remotely close to hunting, then my productivity is just fine! Like checking out this site - haha!! Looking forward to my 2nd year and hopefully first deer and our daughter's first hunt.

Normally I'm so pumped to go hit the timber I have trouble sleeping this close to the opener but for some reason this year I haven't got that fired up.  :dunno: I know once I pack it will hit me & I will start dreaming of Hunts from the past & the smell of the campfires....
You haven't packed yet?  I am typically packed about 3 weeks before...LOL

Been packed since i pulled out of the driveway on Sept 2nd for archery elk.  never unpacked.  Heading out Friday after work for the weekend and then back on Wed night for the last half.  Be hunting by myself this weekend and then a couple buddies come back with me on Wed.
Should be a good time, can't wait.  The weather up in the Methow looks like sun and cold, maybe a little precip on Friday.

Be carefull everyone and don't forget about those damn rattlesnakes,  :yike:  kill em all.

Only a few more days of staring blankly at my screen while daydreaming of hunting! Griz - every report I've looked at says cold with a 30% chance of precipitation for the Methow...

I use weather.com and usually its pretty spot on.  Looks like Friday has the best chance of rain which is good for Sat. morning hike, natures doorbell won't be getting you every step.

I work with a bunch of geeks that don't understand.

Those are the best kind, we can get away from them.  Leave all the geeks behind..

I am the only one who hunts in my entire organization of 147 people.  Getting time off is never a problem.  There is only two others who fish.  2 out of 147 make hunting or fishing makes these folks pretty geeky.

I go to school at Evergreen State talk about people who don't understand holly cow!!! I wore my camo rain gear to class today and you would have thought I had a bomb in my hand. I only wore the camo because it was raining and i was riding my bike didn't feel like being soaking wet all day in class.

You should go out and kill a deer and get some good blood on a shirt.  Don't wash it and show up to class wearing it.  Better yet, is Evergreen college and artsy fartsy school?  Can you do colleg using only deer?  A bit on antler, maybe some hanging hooves, etc..?

Evergreen is THE most liberal school in the state if not the nation. It truly is hard to attend class there needless to say I don't spend much time on campus. I chose this school because it is VERY well respected in the two fields I am interested in Teaching and social work. As a response if I were in an art class I would for sure figure out some way to incorperate something from my harvest(if i am so lucky) in a project. I was however thinking of askin my uncle to tan the hide and turn it into pants or a coat so I could wear the hide to school. I am sure that would piss some people off. :chuckle:
