Pheasant Release Site Hwy 9?
« on: October 10, 2011, 02:32:08 PM »
Has anyone heard about another release site off of Hwy 9 by Snohomish. Not Ebey, Cherry Valley, Stillwater, or Crescent. Something new, I was told by a friend there is one there but he has not looked for it yet. Any ideas?

I worked on the release program at a few of those sites this summer and heard nothing about any new release areas.....  Call the Snoqualmie Unit in Mount Vernon.  They manage those areas in south snohomish county.

i was working with the kid of the guy that raises them for release over it the 329 boundary in Ellensburg area. i was invited to come over this spring and hunt with the kid on the dozer. we were dumping silage across the street (vantage hwy). got permission to camp at the pit with trailers too. :IBCOOL:

Night hunting Coyotes if we so choose.
other than that, the elk come dowm into their fields where it will be off limits for most, but i would be able to walk on through after calling ahead, cant wait to try that area out. after the hunters chase them all off the colockum that is lol!
TANNERITE needed for target practice on opening day of each hunting season.

I volunteered my time.  If you are interested, contact the Snoqualmie Wildlife area and they will send you some forms to complete (liability, etc).
