I notice a lot of sign leading into the really thick reprod. There is no way to get in there without making a lot of noise. Is there a way to lure them out?

If you find a way to go through reprod quietly, it's a secret that you could market and sell for millions of dollars! As far as getting them out again a MILLION dollar technique.

I guess you could set up in the reprod and stay there all day hoping that they forget about you and come back in.

  Dad and I have been very successful doing pushes in reprod. One of us would be the stander, the other the pusher. Don't feel that you need to use four to five guys.

Find the routes they use to come out of the reprod. Blacktail spend a great deal of time in these areas,But they have to come out. Find the travel lanes and set up in a ground blind or tree stand.
The use of a trail timer or trail cam is very helpful.

Sometimes a little noise is a good thing 
If you are walking through a noisy area, trying to be stealthy can send alarm signals quicker then acting like another deer. Chances are very slim you are going to be able to sneak up on a deer in the reprod. Sit on the exit routes and wait, or move in quick small steps a few at a time, like a deer does not a human and glass, glass, glass. If you are on the West side, you better have some very good rain gear, you will get soaked. Those 10 ft and closer snapshots can really get your blood going, LOL.

Find a good clear cut that is a few years old, so it has some greenery and small trees growing in it and has reprod on at least one side of it, a clear cut surrounded by reprod on all 4 sides is ideal. Blacktail live in reprod, if you can find a way to hunt it, you're golden.

Nasty, rainy, windy, loud days are the best for getting on deer in the reprod.  Also you'll get the wetest, but that's what Sitka gear is for.  Some of the taller reprod is actually not that bad, looks thick from the road but once in it clears up, it gets to a point where the underbrush dies off due to lack of sun and you can pick routes through it, but you'll be getting down on your knees a lot as to see through branches.  Last year I walked up on two bedded cows like this, could smell them before I seen them.  When they finally winded me I about got ran over, also had a spike buck that I didn't want walk right by me without knowing.  Definitely have to take your time, play the wind, and constantly scan, because once they bust good luck getting a shot.

Well during the rut, wich of course is only a couple weeks a year, find a spot at the edge or near by the reprod and grunt and rattle one of those big nasty bucks out of it and right to ya.

I've heard of guys setting up tree stands on the edges of the reprod so they can look down into it with better visability. I think this would take a lot of faith in your set up b/c you would be stairing at the same small plot of trees for hours with the hopes that a buck will show and in a second you could go from bummed out to tagged out. A lot of the more succesfull BT hunters use stands or ground blinds in these situations.

The trouble I have found is getting into the stand without making so much noise that I blow all the deer out of the area.

I have three treestands now, one hanger, one climber and a 16' ladder stand and I plan on using all of them!!

Just to add, unless they were pushed by you or someone else into the reprod, push them back the same way they came in.  It's a comfort thing with the elk on how they got into it.
If they were pushed then without a doubt have the pusher walk with the wind hitting him between the shoulder blades.

I have the same problem, lots of good areas for a stand but getting to them would be really noisy. Plus I don't have the patience to sit in the stand for long periods unless I have a decent size area to keep me busy glassing.
