Last minute Manastash deer hunt
« on: October 13, 2011, 07:00:28 PM »
Meeting a friend up in a the Manastash unit in the observatory, mud flats area for a few days. Anyone know that area that might have suggestion I could venture out to. From what I have read on here the area (like many) is not what it once was for deer and is crowded.

You nailed it, head up Hanson pond rd from the bottom until it splits, i have seen a lot of bucks down the draws on the road to the right. Also there is a lot of nice country to the left of Hanson pond, lots of deer in the rolly terrain and draws with pockets of pine trees. good luck!
