recoloring antler bases

What is the best/easiest way to recolor deer antler bases? Mine turned white during the maceration process.opps

Im not sure. I did as instructed......skull in 5gallon bucket of water. the bases had to touch the water in order to get the skull completely submerged. They are not bad but you can tell that they need some touch-up.

like i said they are not bad but they were dark before.

I use a walnut colored saddle/antler stain that I get from Van Dykes.  It works really well.  I mix a little red cedar minwax stain in it for touching up elk antlers.
