WIFES BUCK and DOE!
« on: October 18, 2011, 01:22:45 PM »
My wife and I drew second doe tags in Eastern Wa this year. She shot allot all summer to get ready for the hunt. She shoots a 30.06 and was feeling really confident by the time opening day arrived. On opening morning she made a 240 yrd shot right in the heart on her muley doe. I was able to take another doe just after she shot hers.
On the second day I walked her legs off. She was a real trooper and it payed off. She made a 150 yds shot on her first mature buck. She dropped him in his tracks with one shot. She shot her first buck last year, a spike blacktail. She really wanted to harvest a mature buck and she did just that. I am very proud of her.
My dad also shot a doe and my brother got a nice 3x2 muley buck as well. Not bad for 2 days of hunting. Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone this year.

Looks like a great start to the season. Have you gone to the store to buy an extra chest freezer?  :)
