Brian. I am using a Canon PowerShot S2 IS. Only a 5 megapixel, but it has 12x optical zoom. You can probably get them for about $250 now.

No, I did not go this year. These are from our family get together on the 4th in N. Thurston County. My brothers were setting off the fireworks.

Cool pics, we didn't do fireworks this year because i was working, but from work I could see the fireworks from the DC show, we watched them fromt eh secuirty cameras on the tower.
