Elk Skull on Wall Pedestal Panel (MNTaxidermy)
« on: October 10, 2011, 11:37:12 AM »
Here is an Elk Skull mounted on a Walnut Wall Pedestal Panel.  There will be some Bulls that this panel just will not work on.  It depends on if there is enough antler clearance.  Especially on the really big bulls.  A have a friend that makes these panels for me.  So the angle on the panels can be changed to accomidate antler clearance.

Nice.. love a good euro elk.... and the plaque makes all the diff. in the world.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Michelle,

seeing that in person on saturday, I was amazed at how a few degree's on a euro mount can make a difference   Before going to your shop  I had only seen euro mounts on a level board.

WHAT NO IVORIES......... :yike:

I give the customers the option to have the whistler teeth in or out of their Euro mount. Most opt for them in but some want the teeth for jewelry or whatever but I do like the looks of the ivories on a euro mount. ..... Looks good Michelle.

I've got the Ivories.  I just havn't put them in yet.

I always put my ivories in with a little dab of hot glue.  That way if they want to pull them later to make jewelry with them all they have to do is use a hair dryer to soften the glue and pull them out.  The Hot glue will just peel right off the ivory.

I also never whiten the ivories for the same reason.
