In the rut?

Hey fellas, I was just wondering on who is seeing what with...the  rut/ pre-rut for the Muley AND White tail in what general areas (NE, N, Central....) and what elevation....  I have been hunting some Central 4000 ft, and most mule deer were timbered up and I did not see one fresh rub... ( heading North tomorrow for whitetail...)

Last night driving home from work I saw a legal buck, (not a wall hanger) out feeding w/the does in an alfalfa field. Haven't seen a buck out w/the doe's for quite some time now. Neck was big, he was just feeding, but he was out w/them.
