Packwood area...

I know a guy who owns land in Packwood and i'm thinking about asking him if i can stay there this weekend, but have never been there before. Hows the deer pop. there? ANybody had some luck in there.

The deer are up there. There are alot of roads to get you around up there but you will have to get out and work for them.

Its not all about the hunt, enjoy. Yes it has deer, but as said you will have to work for them.

I'm not sure where its at exactly but i know its where he goes when he skiis so i imagine its pretty far out of town. I know he's got quite a bit of land. and i'm not worried about killing something, however, that would be ideal hahah. Either way it will be a lot of fun.

There is a bunch of deer down there if you head out towards the lake. It's a little bit of a hike in and out of there but the scenery makes it worth it. Let us know an elk report down there, heading down in a little over a week for elk camp.
