Congrats in the bull. I was up there two days before the season start saw two nice bulls on sunday the day before it open. Then did not see an elk until sat when gen season started and saw about 30 cows and still no bulls. Heading back over there wed night until the end of the season or if i fill my tag. Open for any suggestions

 :tup: congrates. I didn't see one elk opening day and today I had a monster 6x6 walk not 20yds from me and saw 6 cows run so hard there tunges where out.

Nice bull!

Kinda surprised the shock wave from the 450 Ultra Mag didn't kill the other bull as well.   Crap, that is one impressive looking round if I ever need to kill a rogue elephant, I know who I'm calling.   And that is not a slam at using too big a gun.   I'd say it killed him just right.

I hope you're able to enjoy the memory for many, many years.

I shot a four point bull and had a herd of cows and a six point come running out into the open.  I would have never known he was there if I hadn't shot.
