Blah, Blah
get a bear yet??
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

O.K BLAH BLAH BLAH !!! I just about did not even go out this morning  :bdid: after going up to my usual spot I arrived to blanket of fog .. I was so drained from hunting yesterday I did not care no more which when this happens I always seem to kill something ...so I sat around for an hour waiting to see if the fog was going to lift but it never did ...I headed down to my other spot which I have hunted hard all season but just could not seem to get in the rifgt spot at the right time ...So I pull up to the gate at about 11 am and sat there thinking do I really want to climb that damn grade one more time or not ...So I talked myself into it ...as I head up the grade I see fresh sign everywhere including one new rub ..I get to where I want to be and start grunting and rattling ..I hang out for about 25 min. and nothen happens so I head up about 1/2 mile higher and grunted and rattled again ,still nothen ..I stand there thinking what to do ..go home or keep climbing to the upper grade ...which I have done at least 20 different times all season.as I enter the grade I SEE A HUGE RUB ON A ALDER WHICH WAS AT LEAST 18  IN DIAMETER... I was so pi$$ed off thinking just missed him again I literally said out loud you son of a beach you are pi$$ing me off... With my gun on my shoulder I turned to go up the grade and when I turned to my right I see a huge deer lookin at me at about 45 yrds ..I get my gun off my shoulder look threw the scope and just see his butt so I slid the crosshairs up to his head and all I see is a white face and a huge rack ..instantly I put the crosshairs behind his shoulder a boooom ..He hit the dirt... I was fired up after hunting my butt off all season and to get it done at 12:15 on the last day ..Now we are headed for Winthrop for my sons late Muley tag and I cant wait to get there ...big Muley goin down I hope !!!!

One moment you're flying south for the winter, then - BANG - gravy.
