Nice racks Muskrat...  So how has your deer season gone so far?

Hi Hunt, thanks. My deer season ended about 15 minutes after I got in position overlooking an
old skidder road and the deer got in her position, 98 yards down the skid. The Nosler Accubond
went off and that was the end of my season. I was hunting in the over 65 season in the 101 unit. Nice whitetail doe, about 150 pounds. Great time, and very challenging.  The High Cascades  are very intimidating to a senior citizen. Anyway, all is well with me. I just turned 74
and hope to be hunting elk in the late archery season. Good luck to you. Muskrat (Chuck)

You are the man and hunting at 74.  I bet most of us hope to have your get up and go at that 74.  You have set a great goal for most of us.  With the exception of you damn older brother.  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
It is interesting how many were on BTC and went to the BTC meeting as well.

Nice lookin Man Cave Chuck!

Good to see your still slayin deer my friend!   :hello:

Ron

Ron glad to heat from you. I have often wandered about you and how you were doing after your health episode.
I am getting along pretty good, and still let the desire to hunt guide me. I don't tromp around the hills at all anymore. My companion hunter posts me in a likely spot and I just get lucky.

Thanks for your message. Take care, and good luck hunting. Post some of your outstanding pictures. Happy Thanksgiving. Muskrat (Chuck)

Outstanding pole placement, and beautiful animals.  I bet a few other trophy kitties have graced that platform :)

I hate the term "man cave".  Women use it like "pile all your $hit into the back room or garage please"
