Thanks for all the great comments guys...he lives to hunt and he spends all his extra time checking out this site trying to learn everything he can. The gun is a .308 caliber it was a hand me down form my dads uncle, the funny thing is I bought him a ruger .243 youth model and we went to the range to shoot and he decided he wanted to use this gun instead. The little guy is hooked ;)
