Great picture Bone how far out were you on that picture I cant imagine he let you get too close you must have one hell of a zooming lens on your camera.

I got within 10 yards of him.  I took a whole bunch of photos of him with my 70-200 lens.  I was happy I had it with me and I had time to change it out, otherwise you'd see a bunch of his eyeball.

I was going to ask how the h..l did you pulled this off ? I'm sorry for asking this - do you live in woods full time or part time ? :lol4: I do admire your pictures because they 're just beautiful .....regardless of an antler a.. scratching .

I spend about 3 weeks a year out there.  I try to concentrate on prime photography times which usually correspond with each animals rut.   I got three days this week.  26 bucks, 23 bucks and today a whoppin 11.   Going to fall short of my usual  500 goal I am afraid.  They are alot harder to come by this year.  Now its time for a basketball tournament with my girls.
