Arrow Wraps
« on: July 10, 2008, 09:21:21 PM »
Well a while ago I had posted a picture of the custom arrow wrap that was made for the Caribou trip with Cameron Hanes this fall.  I finished the arrows here a little while ago but kept forgetting to take a picture of them finished.  So today I finally remembered and figured I'd show you all what they looked like so you know what I'll be sending through the side of a big bull caribou this fall.

It is funny, seeing the wrap flat I was like  :dunno:,
But seeing the completed arrow and they are great!  Really like the way the flames and vanes work together.  Do you have a thing for Under-Armour?

Go get them Red and show us how they look then!  I bet they will look even better!

Great Job!

Under Armour is sponsoring the hunt as well as Cabelas.  They are the main sponsor actually and the one that is paying for everything.  So they have hooked me up with everything imaginable under the sun from small stuff as shoes to socks, boxers, and every piece of camo they make including duffle bags and back packs!!  And after talking to Kip (VP of Under Armour) we decided to come up with something unique for the hunt and that's what I chose! That's why there is a UA logo on my wrap.

That is kind of what I thought.
That is great that they have done all of that.  Cannot wait to see the results!
The more I look at the wraps and the finished product, the more I like them.

I leave tuesday Aug. 26th from Seattle at 5:40 am.  I will be back on Wed.  September 3rd at 1:15pm.  (Plus a bunch of flights in between)  We will be hunting with Arctic Adventures in Quebec.  (www.arcticadventures.ca) We are East of Kuujjuaq (Up by the Ungava Bay as far North in Canada you can go) about 125 miles from the nearest town.  We will fly in by float plane and then we will travel up some of the rivers by boat.

We will be hunting the Quebec - Labrador Caribou.  The two largest caribou herds in North America.  The Leaf River and the George River herds consisting with over 550,000 in one and over 450,000 in the other.  It will be a guided trip, but I am not sure we'll be with a guide as they would usually hover over you the whole trip and that's not Cam's style.

Any other questions?
