I think you can do it online now as well.

As far as i know you can still challenge the course. Just have to make an appt with your regional office to take the test. That's what i did last year since i missed fhe rondezvous.

Nope, WSTA is the only way to take the course. WDFW washed their hands of it.
Let me know of your location and I will put you in touch with the  nearest instructor.

You cannot do it on-line.

All WDFW does now is give you the number of George Brady and they are not real reliable about doing that.

Working on a Trapper Training page for watrappers .com Hope to get WDFW to link to it.

Interested in getting a trapping license. You have to pass Trapper Training first. Go to http://watrappers.com/ All the information is on the home page on how to get your license.

Thanks Bruce, I might have asked you this before when we talked via the trapperman forums a couple years back, but I cant remember for sure(Ive got sometimers, sometimes :yike:), do you remember Ed Meridith who sold supplies and bought fur in tumwater back around the late 70s and 80s? Fond memories there... :)

At any rate, I just wanna do some hobby muskrat and mink hobby trapping via the colony trap route after Jan 1, 5 or 50 I dont care, I just wanna get back out on the water, I wont quit my day job though.... :chuckle:

Thanks again and I will stay in touch, expect a payment for membership by the 1st of the year.

I met Ed but I can't say I knew him well. Stopped at his house and talked to him  for a while in the 80s sometime.

Keep that outlaw mole trapper business under your hat. There is a guy just got convicted and is awaiting sentencing. Thinking it could be $1000 per infraction.

Thanks again and I will stay in touch, expect a payment for membership by the 1st of the year.
