Nice Pheasant
« on: December 01, 2011, 07:57:14 AM »
Here is a nice pheasant I shot over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were preserve hunting in Indiana. Probably the prettiest bird I've shot. Hit very lightly yet fatally. Crumpled like a house of cards.

Side note, later in the hunt we shot a chukar in some woods that flew straight up. Hit is good and it fell straight down and landed right on the dogs head. Funniest damn thing I've ever seen.

I honestly don't remember what it is. It is my fathers 20 gauge and pretty much points itself. It is a joy to shoot.
