Oregon Spike Down!
« on: November 18, 2011, 07:19:38 PM »
Well last weekend was the final weekend here in Oregon for elk.  We had been into elk everytime we had been out but time was not on our side. After tracking this herd for 4 hours Jenna got her first bull.  There was a nice bull in the herd but we could not stalk them with the wind and amount of other elk between us.  She took a shot at 220 yards right over his back and the bull ran straight towards us.  Stopped at 60 and she put him down.    Great hunt and another great season in the field together!    Heres a few pics...
