2011 Idaho Wilderness
« on: November 21, 2011, 09:53:29 PM »
I went on my first guide hunt ever and WOW what an experiance!  We went to Idaho on a fully guide hunt in November.  My friend shot a very nice buck the first day about 10 minutes after getting to camp.  It is a 7x9 that rough score 208".  I got a typical 4 point (that I don't know what it scores  :dunno: ) a couple of days later.  We saw about 20 bucks  and 70-80 deer each day. I also got shot at a wolf at 700 yards I missed.  :bash:
"Shoot the spike".  It's much easier to pack out!

I know some other guys that went into the Frank Church and scored on a couple really nice bucks as well. Backcountry mule deer of that caliber is
my kind of hunt! Great job.
Everyone has something to teach, so listen up
