Thanks for sharing your experience with us.   Not sure about the photo quality getting worse.  Did you notice it when you see it as Jpeg on your puter or just when you post it here.    It seems to me that the host here or setting on this site does something to photos.  I remember a controversial thing that Ray did a year or two back that seemed to zap the quality posted here.   I can't remember what it was or I might suggest changing it back.   It had to do with condensing images to save space on te drive I THINK???   I know my photos change alot when posted on here.

They were definately better on my screen before I sent them.

Is a female sheep a nanny or a ewe?  I was thinking this last night after I went to bed. The goats are nannies right?

Kind of what I was thinking.   I have no clue what he did.

Thanks all. I sure have appreciation for all the good photogs we have on this site. It is not as easy as I thought. I remember Bone saying before "It would be easier to kill them than to get good pics"  I always thought that was a funny comment till I bought a camera.
Hopefully I will turn out to be  better at picture taking than hunting. LOL. We will see.

Any way to find out the story on #13?  Does the state have public records on these tagged collared animals?

Great pics for sure.  I had the tag in there this year and took a lot of photos of those two rams together.  I think they collared two or three rams in there, #13 still has his collar, #14 is just an ear tag now.  Both seem about 7 or 8 now.  I was told they were inferior rams and were hoping they would keep their collars on for several years and not get taken by the hunter.  #13 was always by the river, or within a mile of it.  He put on some more character this fall too.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the info. I saw a couple bigger rams about 1 mile east of these, but didn't have the legs to close the distance to get any photos. I will definately be back to try again. My wife has family in the area so we visit occasionally.

Did you bag one?
