Steelhead on the Tucannon

First steelhead of the year on the Tucannon. Put up a good run, Nice color too.

This was my Fiancee's first steelhead ever. Man you should've seen her face. It was worth all the untangling I had to do for her lol. It was pulled out of the same hole on the Tucannon

Nice fish! Thats a fun little river to fish on. I still am amazed that there is steelhead in it! Nice work!

Thanks guys, I know man that is probably my favorite river to fish on. I love how small it is and just the natural setting. Its a very pretty river.

Congrats man,  i lovw that river, used to fish up high for Dolly's, haven't come
For a steelhead run yet. we're you up higher or lower on the river?

Thank you. I've caught some dollies up higher in the park, there's a really nice whole for them that also usually holds steelhead and salmon right next to the fly fish only lake. It's selective gear only and catch and release only up there though. I've usually always caught a majority of my steelhead on the lower tucannon by starbuck. these two were caught on the lower part. you'll have to get up there for the run, it should be really kicking off in about a week or two
