Right on! Great buck indeed.  Glad to see you held off on the eagle creek spike:).  It was well worth it!!! I signed up right before the crash when alot of topics dissappeared and was wondering how your hunt went.   Thanks for the update and the great story!  I love this site,  not only a bunch of great supportive people, you get relive the hunts of others just like you were there! Congrats again on a job well done!

Yes, those guys were amazing! The trip was amazing! Got the buck processed at Del-Fox in Stanwood, WA. for $131 and have already burned through 5lbs of pepperoni and 1lb of hamburger, delicious!

Thanks to everyone for the comments and continued support! This site has quickly become one of my favorites and I tell everyone I know that hunts about it!

Those are the kind of stories that I truly enjoy to read.  Thank you for sharing your hunt in such great detail.  And major kudos to the Gents that stopped and helped you out.   It is situations like that were friendships and bonds are built that will last lifetimes.  And congrats and a nice buck.

How's the knee?

bassquach, glad we where there to help. We all had fun watching you & your one shot kill. Thomas said he wished that we had had you there for the buck he shot. He said he would of let you shoot it, knowing now that it was you first buck.

Good to hear from you Hawk I!! Did you get my text? I would love to see a picture of his buck!! I am glad Thomas finally found a buck he was proud of and excited to shoot, that comment is a great measure of his character! He deserved that buck, I wish I would have been there for his shot and to help you guys as you helped me, but who knows, maybe I will get another opportunity in the future?! If there is ever anything I can help you guys out with you have my number! How did the video turn out?? I will PM this also...
