Wolf killed in S.E. Montana

To all------Assuming that this is correct???-------and the photos do look like eastern MT--------What is a wolf, or wolves, doing in SE  MT??----and prior to the animal being shot, did MTFWP know that wolves were in the area???-------Does anyone know if wolves are breeding in the Missouri Breaks??------Thanks---------Charles

There was a news story on this.  It was killing sheep in the area it was shot.  It had a collar on and traveled over 300 miles from Wyoming.
