Cuddeback Attack or Leupold RCX
« on: December 21, 2011, 03:29:33 AM »
I am looking to buy one of the newer cams on the market...Have any members on here used the Attack or RCX cams... I like the viewer that comes with the rcx as it can be used with any cam for dumping photos, but Leupold is new to the market. Leupold also has outstanding customer service as opposed to cuddeback form what I have read and heard from others who have dealt with cudde. I havent seen any photos from the cams either pop up on here

A buddy has the Cudde Attack and loves it. Can't beat the trigger time. Very reliable. I haven't heard many reviews on the Leupold. There is a good informational video on utube for the Attack. Nice to be able to take a zip card up to your Cudde and pull the pics off.

the leupold has the viewer to dump which is nice..they advertise less than 1 second trigger on the RCX...I dont mind the cheapo cams for bait /salt..but when it comes to trails a fast trigger is everything...all it takes is one 1 pic to make the difference

I would also consider the Bushnell Trophy cam series as a competitor for the Leupold. The camera is small, has excellent battery life, excelent clarity and I think excellent trigger speed. After having one eaten by a bear and dealing with their customer service I can say they are top notch in that department as well. I have one out in the field and it has been flawless.

Personally, I think I'd wait on the Leupold.  They're still working out bugs from their initial releases.  In time they could be the best camera on the market.  Google reviews of the Leupold.  They have some issues.  I think Leupold will get them resolved but it might be a couple years.
