isnt it illegal to sell game meat??

Saw this add and thought he was trying to get rid of it for free or something. Gave him a call and he wants 3-4 $ a pound. I thought it was illegal to sell it if you are not a licensed dealer of game meat???

I saw nothing there that said it was for sale......just sayin. That could be how he is trying to skirt around legalities. I do not know if it is legal or not......I eat all of mine.

I believe this has been addressed previously and that this individual is from a native American Yakama tribe.  It is illegal for non tribal members.

uhh, its in the general for sale section, and he says he has elk meat and to call, if thats not selling stuff I dont know what is.  Guy couldnt even spell burger right.

I called and talked to him. He just told me he wanted 3-4 $ a pound for it. Didn't buy any though.

to legally possess game meat you have to have documentation from the hunter including tag info is my understanding but that is just what my hunter ed instructor told us never saw that in regs.  maybe its an RCW or WAC but I couldn't say.

Its illegal unless you are native american. 

Farm elk can be sold but doubt thats the case here.

It basically says it's illegal to buy or sell.
