Yea we know what Fitkin would say but then we also know what he is.

Wolves.   Those pics were taken at about 3.5-4 miles by the way the crow flies.     If I am remembering correctly two of these were one year olds and one of them was older.

I kind of agree.  The wolves over there do have some red to them, but the animals in these pics look to be pretty short legged and pointy nosed... I can't get the pictures to zoom all that well to be sure.  :twocents:

If you say they are wolves I'll take your word for it.  I can't see as well from the pics as you did in person.  Nice pictures!

Dale:  these are the two they are claiming.

THANKS,

I see three in the one photo, so this is undisputed proof that their 2 is at least 3. Have you seen more than 3 in this group?

How many wolves are in the other pack upriver?

I just checked my diary from January 2, 2011 to April 4, 2011, I seen the pack of three 9 times, not always together.   Heard them howl 4 times.  Seen them eating on 3 different kills, never seen them make a kill.

I watched these same WOLVESnine times in 2011, they are the lookout pack after the collared female from 2010 disappeared.  I watched these same wolves 12 times from Feb. 27, 2010 to Apr. 30, 2010, the first part of the year the female was with them.
