new 10x42 legends
« on: January 02, 2012, 04:51:57 PM »
I recieved a Cabela's gift card from my kids for Christmas and it was burning my wallet up so in the interest of safety I went to Cabela's to look at new binoculars. I looked at the Nikon Monarch 3 and ATB's the Vortex Vipers and the Bushnell Legend HD/ED. Long story short I bought the Bushnell's. I thought they were clearer and sharper than either of the Nikon's and very comparable to the Vipers. These are my second set of legend's. I bought a pair of 8x32's about 10 years ago that I have loved and will continue to use for hunting in the thick stuff here on the wet side of the state. The 10x42's will mainly be used for coyotes on the east side. The price was right too, Cabela's had a $50 mail in rebate and I had an email coupon they had sent me so my out the door price was only $182. I'm happy.
