New to area {snohomish} from Tx and looking for info.
« on: January 06, 2012, 11:35:00 PM »
Hey yall, so I just moved here from Beaumont Tx and have no idea where to hunt or even start here lol..I live in Snohomish just East of Everett and would like to find something close. Im open to state land or paying someone to hunt there private land and if we do that I would like something long term so I can get set up for next year. If I could tag along on someones hunt that would be great! I dont even have to shoot anything I just need to figure out the ropes un here in the NW. We do things a little different down south lol

Thank's Rickitt  :dunno:

Yes it is.  Haven't hunted down there since they started the whole pheasant release site there.  Don't think the hunting is any good there now.

Wow! Used to be great! I knew a guy with some private property out there where I boarded my horses and we used to slay em! Had to stand in hip high water though!

Some of the private property in the area is probably good to hunt still but the game department land is probably not the best any more.

i agree that if you have private land you  but i wouldnt mess with too much public hunting unless you have a boat to go to the bay. id go back to texas to duck hunt i hear its pretty good down there :chuckle: . i have family in texas, i like that the teal season starts early down there too...this year has been pretty slow but if you go to the right place you'll get some ducks it just takes alot of work in this state some times , all my hunting is done on private land so if you have any family or friends that have some land that need a little duck / geese poulation control you might just find your self a nice little huntin spot
If you can't play with the big dogs then STAY on the porch.
