Badlands Bino Pack

My best bud bought me a Badlands bino pack for my birthday. Nice pack. Hydration set up, magnetic closure, bow string hook for when you're glassing, optics cleaning cloth inside, pouches inside, and some doohickies on the side for hanging GPS or radio by the clip. It's a very cool little set up. Thanks Bruce.

Does anyone know if the magnets can affect the GPS?

I have one of those and like it but had to remove the water bladder holder thingy in the back (just cut it out of the little pocket) because it pushed against my pack and was annoying.

I don't know about the magnets and GPS - I keep it in another spot since I don't have it out all the time.

I also have this and love it. Takes some getting used to as it feels bulky on your chest but keeps my fancy glass safe and clean, and doesn't beat me in the face when I'm running or smash my hands while holding on to a saddle horn of a pony. I would look into the Sitka gear one if I had it to do over again, it looks a little less bulky

I have one of these also. I love it. keeps rain and snow out. I also looked at the sitka bino one and didn't really like it. It had zippers. Was less bulky but I like the magnet on this one.

That magnet is not really strong.  I wouldn't worry about it.  But, I wouldn't be rubbing my $500.00 GPS on it for good luck either.

I have one of these also. I love it. keeps rain and snow out. I also looked at the sitka bino one and didn't really like it. It had zippers. Was less bulky but I like the magnet on this one. 

The Sitka has magnets and a zipper. I rarely use the zipper.

Didn't know that was a bow hook.  I used it to hook to my fanny pack to keep my fanny pack from falling down.

I got a Rino 655T this fall. I love it. I think it's staying in my #6 pocket on my pants. Nowhere near the magnets.

The wife got me one for Christmas, along with the range finder case, very impressed I keep my gps in my badlands 2800.

Now you speak of the magnets, i know why my GPS is wasted!! I have the Rivers West sets, and the magnets in the pockets whiped it out! Dosent work anymore, it was a Magelian gold.

I use mine with my badlands 2800. No problems with archery at all. Isnt in the way. Well worth the money to protect your glass. Never had any issues with the magnets and GPS.
