Here's a straightforward open reed mini-howler, set up with a single reed on one of my new L-O-U-D toneboards.
Excellent pitch range, smooth and unbroken, excellent howls and distress, and shocking volume!
Turned piece of Indian Water Buffalo Horn. Has some really nice subtle striping in it. Polished completely, both inside and out. Really pretty and handy.
