I had one that I gave to my neighbor. Maybe he's done with it. I'll ask him next time I see him.
There's usually at least a few Savage stocks on Ebay. I bought that youth stock on there. Knowing me, I didn't pay much for it but I don't remember just how much...maybe $30??

If you can find it, you've got a sale.    It's a Savage/Stevens 200 so I think a 110 stock would work.  After all of my research, I am still confused on that.  It's a .308 so it's short action and it's a double stack blind magazine.  Not sure off the top of my head if the magazine comes off with the action or stays on the stock.  Apparently this is an issue with Savage where out of nowhere they decided to switch from one to the other.  When I get a minute, I'll check.

A 110 is the long action and the 110 stock will not fit on a short action, you will need a model 10, 11 or 16 stock. Then you will need to know the action screw spacing. Look on Stockys website, it explains the difference in action screw length and what all is needed.

Take note.....there is a 4-1/4" and a 4-3/8" screw spacing for the short action models, one will not fit the other. Know before you buy or you will wish you did.

not necessarily. Savage awhile back only had the 110 action and all were long actions, even the SA cartridges. They changed to the centerfeed because it is more reliable, more universal and cheaper to make.

If you call savage and give them the serial number they will tell you exactly what you have.
Never, ever let Creed hold you baby, it will ruin it and you will have to get another.

I knew that and should have included that did bit of info. I was more focused on the current production of Stevens/Savage stocks and the current action screw spacing. He still needs to measure the action screw spacing, that will tell him everything he needs to know.

Oh...and here is another link, I forgot about Jim Briggs at Northland Shooters Supply.

I got a Ram-Line youth stock for my boys rifle from Bass Pro shops for under 50.00 bucks, had to put a shell carrier on the butt and filled it with paper, cause its hollow and noisy, but came with a great recoil pad on it. I have his wood stock in the safe redone and ready to put on now that he's bigger, but he still likes the synthetic.  He even helped me put a camo paint job on it. :chuckle:  I don't know if they still have them but you might look.

What does savage charge for a youth stock?
