Kudos to Warne Rings customer service/ warranty.
« on: January 23, 2012, 10:29:27 AM »
After looking through some hunting photos of this year, I noticed that two top ring screws were missing out of my rings on my 450 Ultra Magnum that I used to take my elk. Upon closer inspection of the rifle, sure enough. Both screw heads were broke off, the rear on the front ring and the front screw on the rear ring. No doubt this was due to recoil. The rifle shot well on the range and took my elk clean at 302 yards, with only one screw each.

I called Warne and explained it to Randy, I explained it could have been recoil or my over tightening them due to the fact I had to keep tightening them up to keep the scope from sliding in the rings due to reciol.

Randy said " No problem" send them in and we will replace them with either the same set or a set of tactical, heavier duty rings. That it was my choice, he even asked if I needed the rifle right away. If that was the case he would send me the new rings immediately.

It is a true pleasure to see such customer service these days.

Here is the picture I was looking at when I noticed the screws missing after the fact.

I've had the exact same experience with Warne.  I had some issues with ring height once and they were excellent to work with.
