I have a Stainless Classic with the Boss in .300 Win. Mag.  I love it.  I put an HS Precision stock on it. I don't really use the Boss except for at the range.  Mine came with a muzzle break for the Boss.  I made a threaded cap to cover the threads.

Its the most accurate gun I have ever owned. I would buy another one in a heart beat.  :twocents:

I have a 300 win mag and 22-250 and they are very accurate but did take a lot of shooting to adjust the boss. I wouldn't get rid of either rifle and love them both. They are very loud especially the 22-250 when shooting at the bench.

I should say that it came with the break and a non-break end for the BOSS. Maybe they all did?  I will use the break if I am working an a load and then fine tune my load with just my threaded cap which makes it appear to be a standard barrel.  The rifle is very accurate without the BOSS.

There are adjustable brakes similar in performance. But for the money, you can have a smith tune the rifle up.

Something about clamp on trinkets on a hunting rifle fails to make me feel warm and fuzzy.

My 300 shoots very tight... but is Extremely  :yike: Loud... I am going to get a load worked up that shoots well enough without the Boss, since it just HURTS to shoot at game with no ear plugs in ( I hate wearing earplugs while hunting)...

However, wow...it sure doesn't kick when the boss/break is on. Never shot it without it... I'm sure it will thump.
